The Sporting Clays Benefit

The Sporting Clays Benefit is held each spring. Hosted by the event steering committee, the shoot takes place at a local shooting range and typically begins with lunch and games prior to the tournament. Afterward, participants and volunteers enjoy a reception and awards ceremony.

Proceeds from the Sporting Clays Benefit go toward the Barbara Cooney Teaching Fellowship Endowment. Named for a beloved retired Middle School history teacher, the fellowship provides a one-year training and mentored experience for teachers and coaches with high character and high potential.
