Girls Lacrosse

In 1993, the Kinkaid School began its girls lacrosse program, thus joining one of the fastest developing regions of lacrosse in the country. As lacrosse grows and thrives throughout the Southwest, it is the program mission to build highly skilled teams that can compete with programs both in Texas and throughout the country. Program focus will be to develop well-rounded lacrosse players who are not only highly skilled at the fundamentals of the game, but who have a broad understanding of and appreciation for its strategies and history. Emphasizing both hard work and fun, committed coaches will build a team atmosphere in which individual abilities and teamwork are prized. Team coaches also will instill in players values of sportsmanship, respect and service to others. Finally, all players at all levels will understand the importance of safety on the field. To accomplish this, coaches will expect players to wear required equipment to all practices and games and they will educate players on the rules of the game.
