KINKAID CHEER TRYOUTS - APRIL 1 & APRIL 2
KHS tryouts are open to all 8th-11th grade girls who are enrolled for the 2022-2023 school year.
KMS tryouts are open to all 6th-7th grade girls who are enrolled for the 2022-2023 school year.
Cheer is a fall sport. Cheerleaders may not participate in another fall sport - cheer, cross country, field hockey, or volleyball

MANDATORY TRYOUT MEETING
- March 23 in Amphitheater
- 5pm for 6th & 7th graders
- 6pm for 8th - 11th graders
- One parent/legal guardian
- Review tryout criteria and answer questions
- Candidates receive tryout choreography link
- Impact Testing must be completed prior to tryouts
The philosophy of the Kinkaid cheerleading program is to develop the potential of each student athlete to the fullest extent in order for them to become successful not just in cheerleading, but in any endeavor, and to develop solid work habits that will lead to excellence throughout their lives. To accomplish this, focus is placed on teaching team members the value of self-discipline, confidence, persistence, and teamwork.

Falcons @ the Next Level
Many of our former cheerleaders have gone on to successful careers at the college level. Recently we have had Falcons cheering at the following schools: University of Texas at Austin, Southern Methodist University, Vanderbilt University, Georgetown University, Texas Christian University and Tulane University.
