Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten: Friday, September 20, 2024.

Grades 1-12: Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Tours of the The Kinkaid School campus are scheduled September - April. Please contact the Office of Admission and Enrollment Management at (713) 243-5033 to schedule a tour! 

It is always our desire to meet all of the candidates for whom group visits are required. However, if attending the visit is prohibitive, you may call to request a waiver for this requirement.

For 6th and 9th grade applicants, students may be interviewed online.

For Pre-Kindergarten, candidates must be at least four years old by July 1 of the year they will enter Pre-Kindergarten, and they must not have turned five before June 1 of the year they will enter Pre-Kindergarten.

For Kindergarten, candidates must be at least five years old before July 1 of the year they will enter Kindergarten, and they must not have turned six before June 1 of they year they will enter Kindergarten.

Yes. However, please be advised that The Kinkaid School does not offer a program for International Students, nor do we issue I-20 visas.

You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of completing the application. If you are unsure whether your application has been received, please call our office at (713) 243-5033 to verify with a staff member.

We ask that you give the teacher time to get to know your child before giving them the recommendation form. To ensure that we get the most up to date report on the student's performance in the classroom we cannot accept teacher recommendations before the following dates:

• Pre-Kindergarten: Do not give to teachers before Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
• Kindergarten-Grade 12: Do not give to teachers before Monday, December 2, 2024.

Completed application forms are only accepted from the sending school or recommender completing the form. Application materials can be emailed to admission@kinkaid.org or mailed directly to the Office of Admission and Enrollment Management.

The Kinkaid School requires that all students be compliant with the Texas Minimum State Vaccine Requirements. Students must be up to date on vaccines and submit immunization records prior to the first day of school.  The School does not accept exemptions based on conscientious objections.
