The Archives of The Kinkaid School collects materials related to the history of the school's growth and development from its founding in 1906 to the present. Materials of interest include letters, journals, photographs, scrapbooks, meeting minutes, publications and print materials.
If you have anything you believe might be of interest to the archives, please contact John Rovell.
The Archives of The Kinkaid School relies on donations from the community to continue to grow. As such, there are several "gaps" in the collection we would like to fill. Donations of these materials would be especially appreciated:
- Programs for Kinkaid events, especially 1920-1980
- Issues of The Pigeon and other underground newspapers
- Photographs and sketches of the original San Jacinto school located in Mrs. Kinkaid's house
- Photographs and sketches of the Richmond campus
The Archives is located in the Upper School Moran Library.
