How do I use the Parent Online Volunteer Site?

Accessing the Online Volunteer Site
1. Click the Community Login link from The Kinkaid School homepage.
2. You will be taken to the Community Login page.
3. Enter your information into the Username field. This is your assigned User
Name and Password for the Portal.
Note: Your Username is the first part of your firstname.lastname. For example,
if your name was Sample Parent, you would enter “sample.parent” in the
Username field.
4. Enter your password into the Password field.
Note: Your Password is the password you received from The Kinkaid School.
Need to retrieve your password? Click the Forgot your username/password link
below the Login button to have your password emailed to you.

5. Click the Login button.

6. Click the Click Here to Access School Volunteer link.



Click the Volunteer Menu link.

11. Click the My Info link to update your personal profile. You can change your
password and update your cell phone number.


12. Click the Join Committees link.

13. Click the Book Fair link to view all committees listed under the Book Fair
division.

14. Click the + icon to access additional information about the committee, including
the committee description and the committee chair(s).

Note: This page includes links to view the Member Roster and Send Email to
Chairs. You can also see how many volunteers are needed and how many the
committee currently has.
15. Click the checkbox option in the Joined column to volunteer for the committee.
You may select multiple checkboxes if you wish to join several committees
listed under the current Division.
16. Click the Submit button.

17. Click the Display My Choices button to view a summary of all committees for
which you have volunteered.

Note: To remove yourself from a committee, you can simply delete the
committee here or uncheck the Joined checkbox in Step 15.
18. Click the Log Off link to exit The Kinkaid School Online Volunteer Site.

19. End of Procedure.

Accessing the Online Volunteer Site
1. Go to www.kinkaid.org
2. Click the "Community Login" link.
3. Enter your assigned POLD User Name (example: firstname.lastname)
and assigned Password.
4. Click the Volunteer Here link under the Parent Volunteers Link section.
5. Enter your E-Mail / User ID and Password. If you are a returning parent,
this is the same as your POLD information. If you are a new parent, this is
the same as your assigned Community Login information.
6. Use the tabs across the top of the page to navigate.
7. Click the Join Committees tab to start the volunteer process.
8. Select a Division from the list.
9. Click the + icon to view additional information about the committee.
10. Click the checkbox in the Joined column and submit.
11. Click the Display My Choices button to view a list of committees you
have joined.
12. If you would like to remove yourself from a committee, simply delete the
committee from Display My Choices or uncheck the Joined box.
Accessing the Back to School “One Stop Shopping” Form
1. Go to www.kinkaid.org
2. Enter your "Community Login".
3. Once you are on the parent page, see a grayed box on the right-hand side
titled "Veracross Integration". Under that banner you will see:
"Please click here to access Veracross". By selecting this option, you will be
taken to the new Parent Portal.
4. Once you are in the Parent Portal, you will see the option of "Back to
School" form at the very bottom right-hand corner. You may need to scroll
down a bit to find this form depending on your computer's set up.
5. Click on the link and begin the process of placing your order.
