The Importance of Giving

2012-2013 KINKAID ANNUAL FUND

In order to provide our students and faculty with the resources they need to learn and grow, Kinkaid asks for support for the Annual Fund. Annual Fund dollars are unrestricted, current use funds that directly support the School's operating budget. Six percent of Kinkaid's budget is provided by gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents and friends to the Annual Fund.

When you make a gift, you keep the Kinkaid engine running with support for technology, athletics, the arts, financial aid and character education. You help Kinkaid attract and retain outstanding faculty and staff. And you support enhancements and maintenance for our beautiful campus.

Designating Your Gift*
You may designate your gift to one of these areas of "Where the School needs it most."                                                                            

ARTS: Your gift supports both the visual and performing arts programs, including art supplies and materials, costumes and equipment and Kinkaid's Visiting Artist Program.

ATHLETICS: Annual Fund gifts help pay for team uniforms, equipment, facilities enhancements and team travel.

FACULTY: Your contribution helps Kinkaid recruit and retain the best teachers, coaches and staff, while ensuring competitive compensation, excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

FINANCIAL AID: The Annual Fund supports the cost of tuition for talented students who would not otherwise be able to attend Kinkaid.

TECHNOLOGY: Your gift helps Kinkaid stay current with the latest advances in the instructional uses of technology and supports infrastructure upgrades.

*All designated gifts support Kinkaid’s operating budget.  The Board of Trustees retains the discretion to direct funds to the School’s general operations should contributions for a particular area exceed the expenditure limits approved by the Board for that purpose.
