Opportunity to Contribute to Endowed Scholarship Named for Mickey Saltman

On behalf of the Advancement Committee at Kinkaid, we wanted to bring to your attention a fund raising plan to honor Kinkaid Upper School Principal Mickey Saltman, who is retiring this year after 12 years at Kinkaid and 51 years in education.

Since Mickey announced his retirement, many members of the Kinkaid community have spoken to us about making gifts in his honor.  When Mr. Saltman was approached about this idea, he was humbled.  Because of his love for students, he asked if the funds could be dedicated to a need-based scholarship endowment to annually support highly qualified students who because of financial circumstance would not have been able to attend Kinkaid.

This is a meaningful way for the Kinkaid community to honor this distinguished educator.
