Ray Brown (10th, Sophomore) has earned national recognition in the The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2012 for his ceramic urn. National award recipients have been identified by panels of professional artists and writers as the most talented young artists and writers in the nation. This year 200,000 works of art and writing were submitted. Only the top 1500 were recognized at the national level. These students have been invited to attend a ceremony at Carnegie Hall on June 1 and to participate in a number of showcase events at Parsons The New School of Design in New York City. Please congratulate Ray on this outstanding achievement.
