US and MS Band Students Perform Well at ATSSB

Earlier this month auditions were held at Sealy High School for the Association of Small School Bands All-Region Band.  ATSSB auditions are open to all public and private school students with a school classification of 4A and below.  The students performed two very challenging selections for a panel of judges in a live audition, and were ranked using the Olympic scoring system.  Kinkaid had multiple US/MS students place into their respective region bands, with four US students placing high enough in their sections to advance to the Area Auditions to be held in January.
