About Sage Dining Services & The Kinkaid School
Sage Dining Services has operated the Kinkaid cafeteria since August 2007. Sage specializes in providing food service management to independent schools and colleges and counts Greenhill School, St. Mary's Hall, Duchesne, Awty, River Oak Baptist, and St. Francis among its Texas clients. A committee comprised of students, parents, faculty, and administrators met earlier in the summer of 2007 and unanimously selected Sage.

SAGE Dining Services chef Mark Harris will be on campus preparing fresh, healthy lunches. The menu, style of service and fresh flavors are sure to please every student’s appetite.
SAGE Dining Services has been serving independent schools since 1990. Their chefs take a healthy approach to preparing the food they serve. Every dish is free of trans fats and is made from fresh ingredients.
SAGE has put together new menus and wonderfully exciting theme meals to spice up the program at Kinkaid. We know your student will love this lunch program. The daily menus will appear via links from The Kinkaid School website.
SAGE will serve healthy made-from-scratch entrées, side dishes, soups, sandwiches and grilled items daily. All items will be available a la carte or via the plate lunch option.
Option 1: The hot entree line will offer two daily entrees, including one vegetarian entree, vegetables, rolls, fruit and dessert. A plate lunch includes: choice of daily hot entree, choice of two vegetables and a roll.
Option 2: The grill line will offer hamburgers, cheeseburgers, vegetarian burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, pizza, chicken tenders and a rotating daily special. A plate lunch includes: one of the selections listed above and french fries or a vegetable or chips.
Option 3: Pasta, Soup, Sandwich, Baked Potato and Salad Line will be offered for a lighter lunch. A plate lunch includes: an entree salad or soup with a choice of baked potato, pasta or small salad and a roll.
All plate lunches will include dessert or fruit and fountain drink, juice, bottled water or small milk.
As a part of the Spice of Life® nutrition program, SAGE will introduce the Spotlight Nutrition program. This program will be used at school to teach students about making healthy food choices. The lunch menus are color coded with red, yellow and green dots.
These colors are a great way to demonstrate healthy food choices at lunch.
