Ms. Curry's fourth grade class recently peer-taught Ms. Thompson's first grade class about creating VoiceThread presentations.  (VoiceThread is a free online software service found at voicethread.com)  

The fourth graders taught the first graders Voice Thread basics including choosing a topic, making a slide, adding audio and video content, and original art to their Voice Thread slides.  The first graders,  working on author studies in class, are using the VoiceThread techniques and lessons learned from the 4th graders to make their own presentations.  Each student presentation highlights an author and includes a recommendation of one of the author's books.
