The Kinkaid School is a nonsectarian college preparatory day school, enrolling about 1350 boys and girls in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve.  The oldest independent coeducational school in Houston, it celebrated its centennial in 2006 and is widely regarded as one of the finest independent day schools in the southwest and the U.S.  Located on an attractive 40 acre campus in a residential neighborhood, Kinkaid houses separate Lower School, Middle School and Upper School buildings.
