Kinkaid makes the most of nine hits in 7-5 victory over Flower Mound

Kinkaid and Flower Mound each put runners on the bags on Thursday, but it was Kinkaid that brought more home, pulling out a 7-5 win at The Woodlands.

Flower Mound got 11 hits compared with just nine for Kinkaid, but Flower Mound stranded 12 on base.

Kinkaid would not relinquish the lead as Flower Mound was unable to weather a four-run fifth inning deficit.

Flower Mound scored two runs in the fifth on a two-run home run by #4 Still, Flower Mound couldn't draw even.

Macon Wilson racked up two RBIs on two hits for KinkaidWilson homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

#1 racked up two RBIs on two hits for Flower Mound. #1 homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

David Duncan threw two-thirds of an inning of scoreless ball for the save. Duncan Robinson did a great job picking up the win going 6 and 1/3 innings.

The top of the first saw Kinkaid take an early lead, 2-0. After Bennett Notestine singled, Wilson homered, bringing home Notestine.

Kinkaid went up for good in the third, scoring three runs... 2 on a clutch single by Will Fullenweider.
