Last night was a mixed bag for the varsity wrestling team.  We had a rough match against Klein, losing 17-47.  Our wrestlers who won were :

James Wooten, Sam Sands, Casey Cowan, and Ben Krantz.

The boys bounced back in our second match and wrestled with an intensity that they have been lacking in the past few weeks.  After Freshman Joey Mannetti was illegally slammed, the kids rallied back and crushed A & M Consolidated with a 64-12 victory.  Every wrestler who won except one, pinned their opponent.  Our winning wrestlers won:

Sam Sands, Alexander Ghadially, Casey Cowan, Joey Mannetti, Ben Krantz, Sam Eggleston, Parker Haynes, David Dennenberg, James Wooten, and Michael Sands

I hope that our kids bring this intensity to our tournament this weekend at Seven Lakes High School.
