The Kinkaid swimmers had great races against St John's school, but they were simply outnumbered.  Reed Hash and Emily David were double winniers.  Reed  took first place in the 100 Free and the 100 Fly.  Emily earned first place in the 100 Free and 100 Back.  Arin Drtil swm to a first place finish in the 500 free and took 2nd in the 200 Free.  Sarah Jane Gage won the 200 IM and took second in the 500 Free.  Yujing Zhu came in3rd in the 200 Free and 3rd in the 500 Free.  Trevin Kurtanich had very strong swims placing 2nd in the 100 Back and 3rd in the 200 IM.  David Tate Foor sprinted to a 2nd place finish in the 50 free and 3rd in the 100 Free. Ellen Thanheiser swam to her first top 3 finish taking 2nd in the 100 Fly.  Kate Bentsen also placed 3rd in the 100 Free. Clair Pollock scored valuable points taking 2nd in the 100 Back.

The Kinkiad Swimmers are focused on the SPC Confernece Championships on February 5.  They swam this meet unrested so the high number of personal records is exciting.  The coaches are looking forward to seeing what these athletes will accomplish when they are tapered and rested for the SPC Championships.
