Soccer - Boys Varsity
The Kinkaid Soccer program is designed to accommodate and guide athletes of all levels and abilities to a greater knowledge and understanding of soccer. The environment that we will seek to achieve will be one that is challenging, competitive and most importantly, fun. Even though the goal of winning will be present, our desire is that winning should not be pushed at the expense of playing well. Playing well is defined as playing a controlled game in which skill, mobility, and precision are emphasized. Additionally, positive modeling and character development will permeate the Kinkaid soccer program.
2013-2014 Varsity Outlook
The Kinkaid boys’ soccer team will have their work cut out for them this year. On the heels of an SPC runner-up season, the Falcons will need to overcome the graduation of 15 seniors. Taking over the leadership duties will be John Beeler, Lucas Cooper and Robert Reinbolt. Joining these captains will be returning varsity players Horatiu Calin, Henry Heyser, Brendan Martin and Josh Raizner. A talented group of JV players will complete the Kinkaid varsity roster.
Although the Falcons will encounter some bumps along the way, expect them to be very competitive as conference games draw near.
