Application Requirements

Kinkaid accepts applications one year prior to the date of expected entry.

You may complete your application online through the link on the Application webpage.

You will receive an email to confirm our receipt of the application.  If you do not receive email confirmation, please contact the Admission Office immediately at (713) 243-5033.

The application deadline for the 2013-2014 school year has now passed. Our application for the 2014-2015 school year will be on our website in June 2013. Please contact our office (713) 243-5033 if you have any questions.

  • Natural entry points are PreKindergarten, Kindergarten, Sixth, and Ninth grades.
  • Kinkaid will accept individual testing from other schools as long as it meets our admission requirements.  Please have test results forwarded to the Kinkaid Admission Office. 

For grades 5-12:  Register for the ISEE test online at www.iseetest.org. The latest recommended test date is January 19, 2013 for Grades 5 – 12.

Transcript Release and Recommendation forms may be downloaded from this webpage.  Transcripts must include grades from the two previous academic years and the current fall semester.  Please submit the Recommendation form(s) for the grade your child will be applying to in 2013/2014.

  • Please note our Application Materials Deadlines.  Application materials need to be forwarded to the Kinkaid Admission Office by the deadlines listed below to ensure your child’s application file will be completed in time for review.
