He's from the DC area and went to Jackson State. He has been previously named the Assistant Coach of the Year at the collegiate level. His experience as a decathlete gives him the ability to coach many different disciplines from the competitor's standpoint."

Person(s) who Inspire you as a Coach and why:  "Jimmy Johnson, Nick Saban, and Darryl Woodson because they inspire athletes from the inside out, making athletes believe what they didn’t believe through applied excellence."

Why do you coach?: "I coach because I love to teach, and there is no greater joy than  teaching the knowledge and skills that I’ve learned to another and to see the joy in an athlete's face when they’ve accomplished their goals; more importantly, when they are able to apply those same lessons to their lives."
