Boys Lacrosse Program Philosophy

Everything the Boys Lacrosse Program does is about TOGETHER.  Lacrosse is a team sport; therefore, players and coaches work together in everything.  Fundamentals are emphasized at every level.  Stick skills, ground ball work, shooting, passing, and effort are the fundamentals that build successful lacrosse programs.  It is the program belief that success and performance in these fundamental areas will lead to success on the field.

Committed and experienced coaches aim to give every level of play a teaching and coaching experience that will prepare players for their next level of play.  At the Upper School level, practices are structured to emulate a college-level practice.  In preparation for any opponent, players are taught and expected to learn and understand multiple offensive sets, multiple defensive looks, a number of rides and clears, and various extra-man plays and defenses.  At the Middle School level, student athletes will learn the fundamentals and work to improve their skills as they progress to the varsity level.  TOGETHER as a program, Falcon Boys Lacrosse looks to force other teams into bad situations through superior coaching tactics.
