Ways to Give
Kinkaid is very grateful for our many donors who generously give to support the School’s important programs. These gifts are responsible for our beautiful campus, our state-of-the-art buildings, green spaces and athletic fields, as well as increasing our endowment for scholarships, faculty development and other initiatives.
The Kinkaid Fund
The Kinkaid Fund supports Kinkaid’s operating budget. Annual gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents and friends provide unrestricted funds to support the full range of academic, arts and athletic programs the School offers.
The 1906 Society
Endowment funds provide the School with a steady flow of income in support of a variety of programs. Gifts can be made for specific purposes or to the general endowment to support all areas of the School. The specified funds are currently used for endowments for departments, financial aid, faculty continuing education, technology, operation and maintenance of facilities and for specific academic programs. The Kinkaid Endowment Fund’s Board of Directors oversees Kinkaid’s endowment funds with the assistance of professional advisors. The School’s current policy budgets a distribution of 4.5% of the rolling average of the market value of the endowment portfolio for the previous 20 quarters. Annual reports and stewardship letters are sent to all donors who create endowed funds.
Large, multi-year capital campaigns for specific projects are held periodically as needed. Between campaigns, capital needs arise that require raising additional funds. For information about current capital priorities, contact Tom Moore.
