Technology in the Classroom News
Technology is enhancing learning in classrooms in the Lower, Middle, and Upper School. A few of the applications of technology in the classroom are listed below.
A group of the Kinkaid fifth graders recently used Skype to communicate with an orphanage in Uganda. The orphanage has one computer donated and the students set up specific times during the day to Skype. The Kinkaid fifth graders plan to write letters and draw pictures to make a connection. The children in Uganda, in return, dance and sing for us. Some of the Ugandan children also came to the camera to speak!

Gerald sent me(Cory Richardson) back to Canada with a backpack full of beads made by kids and ladies in the community to support this effort. These necklaces, sold by students at Saint John High School, raised over $7000-- all sent back to Gerald, who then used it to create the new school classrooms and feed the 130 youth.
This new location has a spring with clean drinking water and a huge tree where we will build our dream treehouse. Many dreams are coming true through clarity of vision, creativity and common unity. Join us in this adventure in humanity... to create alternate realities for ... more
