10th Annual Sporting Clays Benefit
The Kinkaid Sporting Clays Benefit Steering Committee invites you to join in on our 10th anniversary shoot. The benefit not only promotes fellowship among the Kinkaid community but also raises funds for special needs of the School. Since 2002, the benefit has raised nearly $240,000.
The 10th Anniversary Kinkaid Sporting Clays Benefit will be held Friday, March 30, 2012 at noon at The Greater Houston Gun Club in Missouri City and will honor The Kelsey Family. William Kelsey ’88 founded the benefit in 2002. William, wife Laura Hulsey Kelsey ’92, brother Mavis Kelsey ’97, parents Tom and Ann Kelsey and grandfather Dr. Mavis Kelsey, aunts and uncles John and Gaye Kelsey and Mavis and Wendy Kelsey, all have been instrumental in the evolution of the Sporting Clays Benefit as well as generous financial supporters of the event and the School in general. We are very pleased to honor the Kelsey Family this year.
Monies raised this year will again will go toward endowment of The Steven Hetrick Fund, named in memory of Terry and (Nurse) Bonnie Hetrick’s son. This fund was created to help deserving students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to participate fully in the programs offered during Interim Term. To date, the Sporting Clays Benefit has given over $200,000 to this fund and more than 12 deserving students have been able to study abroad because of these funds.
We encourage you to come out and "shoot " in support of this worthwhile cause. Invite your friends, family and best customers to enjoy themselves at this wonderful early Spring tradition. Click here for the 2012 Sporting Clays Invitation or to download a copy of the Registration Form, click here.
