Step 1:  Create a profile in the Admission Portal

Step 2:  Complete the Application 
After clicking the button, follow the steps in the online application. In the Admission Portal you will need to complete the Parent Questionaire, Family Information, Student Short Answers, and submit the non-refundable $100 application fee. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submission.

Step 3: Testing – Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)                                                                 The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) offers online registration or you may use a paper mail-in registration form.  The testing fee of $105 is paid directly to Educational Records Bureau (ERB).  The ISEE test date at Kinkaid is January 7, 2017, for students applying to Grades 9 – 12.  Check in time is at 8:30 a.m. on the day of testing, testing will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., and students will be dismissed by 12:00 p.m. The deadline to register for our testing date is December 17, 2016. 

*We will use, in its entirety, the most recent ISEE test submitted to our office. ISEE Test scores are due by January 13, 2017.

Step 4: Interview
Each candidate for Grades 9 - 12 will have an interview with a member of the Admission Committee.  After an application for admission has been received, a faculty member assigned to the candidate will contact you by telephone or email to set a mutually agreeable time for the student interview.

Step 5: Recommendations
The recommendations are confidential responses from your child’s current instructors. We ask that you do not give the teacher recommendation forms to your child's instructors before December 1, 2016. The forms are expected to be sent directly from the instructors to the Admission Office by January 13, 2017.

Step 6: Transcript 
Complete and send the online Transcript Release form to the school your child currently attends.  Transcripts must include grades from the two previous academic years and the current fall semester. Transcripts are due by January 13, 2017.

Please note our deadlines for the Application Forms.  Application forms need to be forwarded to the Kinkaid Admission Office by the deadlines listed to ensure your child’s application file will be completed in time for review.
